ABOUT ME
I have 9 years of experience in freelance graphic design and 3 years of experience working as a design intern in corporate office environments. I have both self-driven initiative and years of design experience on my own and within team-based creative initiatives.
Over the years, I have partnered with a range of clients, becoming well-versed in utilizing brand guidelines. Allowing me to deliver designs that strike a balance between clarity, functionality, and brand consistency. In my most recent role with the Town of Normal, I designed cohesive signage for every park and public recreation space in Normal, Illinois, including over 40 signs for the Karraker Aquatic Center alone. I have produced marketing materials, digital assets, and branded apparel for clients such as Carl BroMenn Hospital, PBS, Illinois State University, Beck’s Hybrids, and many local sports organizations.
I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Illinois State University. I am currently expanding my digital skill set through a UI/UX certification program at Northern Illinois University. This course builds on and expands my knowledge of Interface design, including web design, with AI tools, Figma, HTML/CSS, reinforcing my commitment to user-centered design.
I design with flexibility and creativity while keeping my client’s values and audience in mind. I am also comfortable managing multiple deadlines, collaborating across teams, and embracing new technologies, including AI-based design tools and motion graphics platforms like After Effects.
