HANDSCAPE
— Repeating Pattern Design —
This pattern is infinitely repeating and features hands twisting and turning. The pattern can tile and scale to any desired size. Made as my final high school art project, I had no specific design requirements. To show off my skills I had learned in the class, I set out to create a complex pattern. Drawing my own hands and layering them on paper, I later transferred the pattern to Adobe Illustrator so the pattern could be repeated.
The hands portray both intense effort and a sense of connection, each one linked while struggling to break free.
